Homemade Caprese Salad Pasta

Hey everyone! I have been able to experiment a little more in the kitchen these past few weeks. So, I figured I would share the easiest recipe I've made yet. It's a caprese salad over a bed of angel hair pasta. This Italian salad itself is fun for a warmer day, but I did add pasta to make it a lunch!

Here are the ingredients & simple steps to making it!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of Basil
1 cup of Cherry tomatoes
1 cup of Diced Mozzarella
2 tbsp of Balsamic Vinegar (add more or less to taste)
2 tbsp of Extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp of Salt
Pepper to taste
Box of angel hair pasta

Mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt combined.
Directions:
  1. Start by boiling your pasta according to the box instructions. Let it cook while you start working on the salad.
  2. Slice cherry tomatoes in half, dice mozzarella up, and chop through your basil. Toss into a bowl.
  3. Add your salt, balsamic and olive oil into the boil. Thoroughly mix all of the ingredients together.
  4. Strain, season with pepper and plate your pasta. Top off with as much of the salad as you would like.
  5. Ta-da! That is all for the recipe - if you prefer a light snack, you don't have to include the pasta, pair it with toasted bread or crackers.
Finished Product!
